Local Legend states:
Oak Creek - Fitzsimmons Road - This is sort of covered with the Bender Park Story. It is also evident that Fitzsimmons Road was used for drag races and such back in the day. People went off the cliff at the end of the road and haunt it. The end is blocked off now, but you still get the vibe that something does not want people there. http://theshadowlands.net/places/wisconsin.htm
Oak Creek - Bender Park - story has it about 80 years ago. A farmer went crazy and killed his family and neighbors with an ax. Since then all of the houses in that area have been removed but when you walk down the road and near the area YOU will never forget the feeling that covers over you. to find the hermit walk towards the lake on FITZSIMMOMS RD. when you get to the woods look left you will see a dirt hill that is all that is left of his road, Plevoc road. Remember do not go looking for him alone out there you are a member of the food chain. March 2008 correction: No farmer ever went crazy in oak creek. for the houses they fell off the cliff or were removed when road workers found an Indian burial hill there. http://theshadowlands.net/places/wisconsin.htm
As stated, the road is now blocked off with barricades by the railroad tracks. Equipped with K-2 meters, video camera, digital cameras, and voice recorders, the investigators parked by the barricade and proceeded on foot to the end of the road. There were a couple spikes on the K-2 meter but it was more than likely due to the power lines that were near the area. No evidence was captured on video. There were a couple questionable EVP's that were difficult to distinguish. One photograph was captured which appeared to be ectoplasm. This was taken as the group was walking back to the cars.
*Follow-up* About a month later, we revisited the road and was only there for a short while when he became overcome with unease and a strong urge to leave the area. Something did not feel right to him being there.
